UPDATE: I appreciate them reaching out and handling this situation. As for food, atmosphere & customer service this place is 5 stars! The 1 star is for the online service Slice. There's no way to contact anyone who delivers and complain. We use Johnny's specifically for our daughter who has Celiac. The pie is expensive, and when we order I expect it to be hot. The delivery guy legit put the box on the floor outside and didn't knock, ring bell or anything. I have him on my security camera putting it on the floor and walking away. This is 100% ridiculous. Do not order online using Slice!!!

Our favorite local place to get New York style pizza. We always order online and get carry out. I've never had any issues with the accuracy of my order. They do a good job posting timely updates through the Slice app so you know when to come for pickup. It's a bit more expensive than the chain pizza restaurants but definitely worth it. My kids call it "the good pizza." The staff is friendly and employs local high schoolers, which I love to support. β€οΈ

I was last here about seven years ago because I don't live in the area. We're visiting family here in Cary and based on our great memories of the place, coming to Johnny's was a must on our itinerary. I'm super super happy to say that everything that made this place so wonderful seven years ago is still here. The pizza is still spot on, the portions are still huge, and the value for the money can't be beat. The employees were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome when we walked through the door and during our time eating. My notoriously picky son who was not here with us seven years ago loved the pizza so much that he told us that he wants to live here in the restaurant (and I'm not convinced that he's kidding). I don't know when we'll next be in Cary, but as long as Johnny's Pizza is here, they'll have loyal customers in me and my family. Sorry that the photos arenβt great, but by the time I thought to start taking pictures, my family had already started devouring the food π

We had ordered from here before but I didn't get to try it because it was a very busy gathering and night for me. Today in the area and chose to come in for a slice since it's on the menu. The slice is $5 plus $1.50 per topping. However, they have a great daily special of $9.95 for 2 slices and a drink. The flavor was excellent and the dough, oh man! Definitely a NY type of slice. I truly enjoyed the decor also. Great hanging pieces on the tall wall depicting some of NYC. Very clean and the staff, especially Tonino was very courteous and attentive. Felt welcomed and wanted the whole time we were seated. Absolutely will come back.

The pizza slices were huge. And it was so good. And they run a special of two slices and a drink for $8.50 I think. It was all worth it. The quality of the pizza was excellent. The staff was very pleasant. Great spot to eat at. Will definitely be back and will look for the chain when I go out.
